3. A person or thing not susceptible to outside influence or disturbance

Each author in this anthology was given a single word ‘fortress’ and asked to write a story around it. Take it in any direction you want, but run with it. And run they did. This diverse group of award winning authors varies as much as their exploration of the word given to them.
