I hold degrees in English and creative writing from Union College (NY), San Francisco State University, and The University of Iowa and have won multiple awards for nonfiction, poetry, and drama. My work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals in the US, the UK, and in Canada.

In addition to these accolades and credentials, I have both "Big 5" publishing experience and a proven track record with independent authors and small presses as both as an editor and as an innovative consultant.

30-minute Skype consultations are $40, but will translate into a $50 credit if we decide to work together. Currently, I charge $1,250 to developmentally edit a 50k manuscript in (roughly) a month. Rates are negotiable, depending on the subject matter, word count, density, and turn-around time. Payment plans are also available.

I have a particular interest in working with first-time novelists and memoirists, as well as with authors who speak multiple languages.
